Live cd detect gpu as discrete while it s not

Trying to install garuda on a old computer (ryzen 2700 gtx1080) the live CD pick my GPU as discrete while it s not and so give half of my ram as swap for the GPU.
I tried booting with bios or uefi playing in bios option but I haven’t found this error online and dont know how to procede
I use the last live CD ISO and after an install and multiple reboot while having updated everything the error persist.

done,
but since it s partition my memory as swap shouldnt i try to fix it before installing ?

That seems normal, I have an 1060 and same text for the API.
Just install :blush:, without changing anything

old Garuda inxi

my issue is it seem half of my ram got eaten to be supposedly vram wich isnt needed, or maybe it s not related but i got half of my ram being swap when during the install i choose no swap.
Also i dont really understand since swap is supposedly on disk and not on ram ?

Did you check after install or only on live ISO?

im currently after install on the installed session, i boot the live iso after to chjeck if the error happened during installation or even before

Looks good to me. Check with htop who is eating your RAM

i have 32gb installed, wich are detected in bios
it tell me 16gb ram and 16gb swap in system monitor or btop etc

swapon --show

gonna tri what i find on arch wiki to disable swap, still it s a really weird issue i wasnt aware was possible; OR am i missing something and having swap on ram is a good things ?

Swapoff -a simply deactivate the swap but I didn’t recovered my ram

Swap is unrelated to this. Swap is always going to be the same size as your ram. It seems your ram is not being detected in general or like you said, used for VRAM. This is usually a bios thing.

it s detected in bios but gonna search what s the issue seem it’s not related to gpu
