It seems like everyone has just hit a breaking point with the Bcachefs project in the Linux kernel, so much so that Linus Torvalds has gone and marked the project as externally maintained. The problem is that doesn’t mean anything, it’s not a defined state.

A cryptocurrency thief got into the npm account of a hard-working developer via spearphishing. node.js packages with billions of downloads are affected.
