Gotta love it since on average it only cost ISP’s around 7 dollars to maintain and expand service. The rest is pure profit.

Intel and AMD engineers have stepped in at the eleventh hour to deal with a code contribution from a Microsoft developer that could have broken Linux 6.13 on some systems.

The change, made in the autumn, was a useful improvement at face value. It was a modification to Linux x86_64 to use large read-only execute (ROX) pages for caching executable pages. The theory was that the alteration would result in increased performance.

However, the code caused problems on some setups and an urgent patch from Intel’s Peter Zijlstra was committed yesterday to disable it. The stable release of the 6.13 kernel was due this coming weekend.

I know the kernel is big corporation funded. But let’s kick Microsoft out so they can just ruin their own kernel lol. They’re good intentions are not wanted :smirk:

I used the past tense of the word use. Used. As in no longer use. Garuda Hyprland is what I use now…
Although I am forced to use Winblows 11 for work.

This save tool needs to be built into heroic its perfect since epic games don’t sync to the cloud.

Interesting, I wonder what kind of data is being sent to them. I can’t imagine what kind of abuses would be waiting for the users of these apps.

I added SearxNG to my browser start pages yesterday. Just check the app and both the chaotic-aur and aur versions are down right now.

You can keep your Whoogle instance going for now with user agent spoofing. See the relevant comments in the GitHub issue starting here:
