If both Garuda and CachyOS are becoming similar and are having similar goals, why not maybe combine our resources and become one.
Larger the community, stronger it would be.
Let me know why it might not be possible.
Maybe I could be a mediator and try to convince both the communities to merge as one.

Indeed, @ptr1337 and me talked about this and figured we had too different goals but we are in contact anyways and help each other when needed (eg. both him and vnepogodin helped a lot with FireDragon early on. Or their snapper-support is inspired by ours
).
Key differences are that they are using netinstall only, which allows a quite big variety of system configurations. Meanwhile we are much more opinionated with what we provide and how we expect things to be. Both of these approaches have up and downsides
