Please put
~~~
before and after your inxi block, for readability.
How you tried to install and what was the error?
I see it should be in the arch repository, so a
sudo pacman -S codeblocks
should be the first option.
yes the error is
Try to give a look with the forum search.
There are some topics related to previous issues, but no one with clear indications.
I see you could try a codeblocks-svn version in the AUR and also as appimage.
Just try to give a look there...
thanks but no luck
here the error with app image
Just out of curiosity…
Why is it that you cannot follow a simple instruction like…
Also, anytime you paste in a great deal of text it should be wrapped by ~~~
This is all too technical for me, I hope someone can help you further.
Just in case... When installing from source, did you follow the guide in their wiki?
https://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php/Installing_Code::Blocks_from_source_on_Arch_Linux
1 Like
yes i followed this too but no luck
plz anybody help because i am a computer student and my teacher only code on codeblocks
so i have no choice
In the meanwhile you get anybody's help, you could ask in their forum:
https://forums.codeblocks.org/
Or ask your teacher :slight_smile:
Sadly nobody likes Linux here:zipper_mouth_face:
First, fix your wrong code style from terminal output in your posts
Second, we love Linux
Third, we do not spoon-feed
Fourth, read manual or ask there who @ filo point you.
Sorry but my teacher uses windows but I like Linux so basically I am own my own but thanks to your support it means a lot and sorry for my code style
Is it this bug? Did you try to apply the fix? (#2 & #3)
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/70935?project=5&string=codeblocks
no it is not the problem
