LibreOffice printing empty page, empty pdf export

Hello,
I'm having trouble getting LibreOffice to print or export any document. Bullet points, graphics and pictures appear correctly, but there's simply no text at all. I tried both LibreOffice flavours and safe mode (which, according to google seems to be the general solution to this issue), nothing works. If I start Writer via shell, there's no error output at all. Any ideas about this?

First of all, your kernel is outdated as well as not the default one. So, I would recommend fully updating your desktop and try again.

And btw, it is working fine here, I created a random file in Libreoffice from scratch, and it printed fine using ctrl + p to a pdf file.
I installed it from Garuda setup assistant, so that might be worth taking a look at.

So turns out you've been right about this. Changed kernels and suddenly it's working as expected. I want to understand why using a hardened kernel would lead to this issue, can someone explain please?

This should be asked or reported to the linux-hardened GitHub. It could be a bug, like a side effect of a security hardening or simply something wanted. How knows besides them?
