Libre Office Not Launching momentarily shows Splash Screen and exits

Hi,
Team Garuda,

Since today morning I'm unable to use Libre office, I had Libre Office 'fresh' installed from Setup assistant so I tried reinstalling both Fresh and Still Version but to no avail...

I tried running using konsole and the output is:

╭─valiant-aj@ad in ~
╰─λ libreoffice
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::deployment::DeploymentException'

output when tried running in safe mode:

╭─valiant-aj@ad in ~ took 584ms
[🔴] × libreoffice --safe-mode
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx

similar issue was posted in Arch Repository as well :

You trust a 7-year old forum post? Did you institute the fix osamabinomar used (Install GTK)?

Do you have java installed?

Basically, what have you done to solve your pro

Hi there,
I'm new to arch Linux

First I don't know what is osamabinomar.

Second, No I don't have Java installed.

Third I've only tried reinstalling the software, that's it.

Who. You cited the Arch thread with his post–and his solution–stated therein.

And you’re as new to Arch as a Ubuntu user is to Debian. (i.e. you run Garuda not Arch)

Try installing java…

sudo pacman -S jdk-openjdk

Ohh yeah his name was Osamabinomar lol.
In app installer i typed gtk3 and related files were installed already i tried installing gtk2 but that didn't work.
As you said i installed Java then tried opening libreoffice it gave this error:

It maybe possible i didn't install gtk 3 correctly can you suggest me how to do it
Thanks in advance

IDK what are you doing, it work fine here on every Garuda DE I use.

Did you… Run Libreoffice with sudo?

You should not do that.

Just a shot in the dark.
It could be that your user has no permissions where it should. Maybe due to either Java or LibreOffice installation issues.
Maybe you could try a

sudo chown -R $USER: $HOME

Which never hurts, since you have to own your home, of course...
Maybe you could try first a

find ~ ! -user $USER -ls

To see which files you don't own. But I cannot test this, since I'm out the entire weekend.
The same problem could be somewhere else outside home, but in that case you should try to understand what file action is triggering the error. Maybe check dmesg, journal, etc
