/usr/bin/mangoplot exists in both ‘lib32-mangohud’ and ‘mangohud’
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

removing lib32-mangohud(either using -Rdd or just -R) does indeed allow the upgrade of the VMs i use to test updates, however i am not sure what the consequences might be for gaming with the hud.

this error occurred also on the “testbed”(kde-dragonized) vm i created that has never had the clean/setup/etc commands performed

console’s garuda-inxi, i didn’t do the bypass on my console

It was already notified. Let’s see…

By-the-way, I see the update triggering the problem was from one hour ago  :astonished:

i guess i will just have to grumble, i did look here to see if anyone posted the issue HERE… i should probably also watch the arch bugtracker… so much to monitor

From the little I understand about development, I see that mangoplot is a (new) python file, which therefore I think might be common between ‘lib32-mangohud’ and ‘mangohud’.
In my opinion, a

garuda-update -- --overwrite '*'

might be fine for the moment.

seems to be something odd with that command right now

sudo SKIP_MIRRORLIST=true garuda-update – --overwrite ‘*’ &| tee ~/update-log-test.txt

SKIP_MIRRORLIST=true is used to avoid beating on the normal server by locking in my pacoloco cache

p.s. need to leave for a while

Mmm never seen anything like that. That command has been successfully used many times in the past.
Instead of passing the parameter, a config file can be created at /etc/garuda/garuda-update/config that can contain the environment variables in the following format:

SKIP_MIRRORLIST=1

Forthermore, a log is created anyway in /var/log/garuda/garuda-update.

Anyway it has already been fixed.
Just update normally in a while, the time for the mirrors to sync…
