Less max TGP on linux compared to windows (nvidia)

I have an nvidia 4060 laptop with a TGP of 150W. The max TGP i get on running nvidia-smi is just 80W.

I use proprietary nvidia drivers, version: 545.29.06

I get the full 150W TGP when on Windows, but on Garuda linux it’s just 80W
Here’s my garuda-inxi:

Start some app (Blender) with Nvidia GPU, seems Nvidia is not in use.

Expanding on SGS’s comment. Please read wiki on how to switch between integrated and discrete graphics.

I read the wiki, and tried ‘prime-run glxgears’, which ran fine.
But when I ran nvidia-smi while the glxgears was running, it still said that my GPU is Off.

I also tried this:

❯ glxinfo | grep "OpenGL vendor"
OpenGL vendor string: AMD
❯ prime-run glxinfo | grep "OpenGL vendor"
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

Also, here’s some extra info:

❯ sudo nvidia-smi -q -d POWER

tried to do ‘prime-run’ with glxgears, and then did ‘nvidia-smi’, prime-run glxgears executed perfectly.

but the nvidia-smi output again said that RTX 4060 was off
