Latte dock giving me issues

There is a small problem with my latte dock, i had the same issue before and the only fix i could find was to just reinstall. No animations are working, i dont have wobbly windows or minimizing windows looks normal. when i hit the windows button on my keyboard the menu doesnt open up and the latte dock is gone, the only thing i did the day before was use some crypto wallets, play vrchat and update my system(altough im not 100% on that). i tried looking for the issue here but i could find the exact problem i have, the notifications are also shown on the bottom right corner of my desktop now and the top bar is gone too. The background blur is still there however. I have to start every program i want either in explorer or terminal since i cant press windows key.

I tried typing latte-dock --debug and this is what i got:

Icon theme "adwaita" not found.
Icon theme "ubuntu-mono" not found.
Icon theme "yaru" not found.
Icon theme "Mint-X" not found.
Icon theme "elementary" not found.
"An instance is already running!, use --replace to restart Latte"

Additionally the minimize, close and maximise buttons are on the right side instead of the left.

Did you accidentally disable your compositor ? Although, I see you said background blur is working... so maybe that's not it.

i didnt do anything at least not intentionally, it happened after regular use, nothing technical. hell i dont even know how to do that

It'd be under System Settings -> Display and Monitor -> Compositor or try Shift-Alt-F12 to toggle compositing.

here is a screenshot, you can see how the icons look, i did latte-dock --replace but the effects arent there and windows key doesnt work, also the blur is gone after restarting, and the dock is reset and my applications arent there anbymore

What do the latte-dock Settings themselves say? Are the effects enabled?
When you right-click the latte dock and choose EDIT DOCK I think, something like that, you can then look if the Effects and Animations are enabled or all screwed up.

latte-dock --replace

is definately not supposed to do that.
Let’s check your latte settings first.

i see they are all unticked, so no fancy effects, and the windows key doesnt do anything yet, so i have to start stuff with the terminal, there si a weird blue circle on the left in the terminals as you can see in the screenshot

Please, also post your garuda-inxi output as text.
Try restoring from garuda-assistant, too.
I move it to #issues-assistance:latte-dock from #issues-assistance

Does garuda-assistant reset configs set things back to Garuda defaults? I hadn't looked into it too much before and didn't know if it did application default configs / wipe out configs/ or pull garuda configs.

i think it works fine now? i just reset every single thing i could and it seems to work fine now, the top bar is a bit lower res it looks slightly blurry but thats not too bad, the rest works fine now i dont know whats happened

You can adjust the blur intensity and stuff too from the Desktop Effects. So was it the garuda assistant reset configs that worked for you?

nah its not the bluir effect its the top bar itself or maybe my eyes are messing with me, but for now all seems working. and yes i reset every config i could and it works fine now

Cool, be sure to mark SGS answer as the solution, then!
