Its great too see this, but yet we need to keep in mind due to sporadic way how are the stats gathered its not precise.
I am even feeling confident to say the Linux user base number is greater than what is currently listed.

My thoughts too. They ask a set number of randomly selected people if they want to participate each month. That can skew the numbers from month to month depending on the selection algorithm.
I´m just guessing, but I think it´s probably a higher precentage of linux users that will refuse to participate in disclosing information. That would tilt the scales a little further.
I use Steam on linux like.. 90% of the time but sods law last couple of times i’ve had the survey while i’ve been on Windows 
Also strange that these results don’t seem to include steam deck??
