Last update break clipboard for electron/chromium based app

Hi , I’ve used Garuda hyprland without any issue from the first release. But recently, after an update I have issue with electron/chromium based app (Google Chrome, discord, obsidian, vscode, …).

The clipboard is not shared anymore with the system. The clipboard work between electron app but not with other app (like terminal, firefox, …). The only way to make clipboard work it’s to add the flag --ozone-platform-hint=auto, but visual issue and instability came with this flag. I don’t know where to search more clue to fix it.

I’m confused, I see on the net that this issue is not new, but why I haven’t encountered this issue before ? One of my friends (is on G. Hyprland too) made the last update yesterday and had sames issue. We try to make a update -a to update AUR packages, but nothing new.

Thanks for your help and hello from Belgium

I am experiencing the same issue.

I have not updated my system for a few weeks, and I just did it two days ago, then my clipboard started malfunctioning…

It looks like the clipboard only works between apps of the same category:
Category 1: firefox, firedragon, kitty terminal, etc.
Category 2: beeper, brave, google chrome, discord, etc.

The clipboard works between apps of the same category, but not between the categories
(i.e.: I can copy in firedragon then paste in firefox, but I can’t copy in brave then paste in firedragon)

The last update fixed the issue for me, @BeBel42 can you confirm on your side ?
