Hi, today I had no response from my mouse or keyboard after logging in, tried to use snaps but it did nothing, plugged them in and out/different port, did not work.
I then used x11 instead of wayland, now keyboard and mouse works.
I tried searching but I did not manage to find anything;
How do I go about making my mouse and keyboard work under wayland again?
First, reboot. That’s what the swoosh indicates., Then…
Fix this condition if it’s stiil present after you reboot.
Report back.
Good morning!

Cool (or not). Now there’s a clean table to work from.
Next steps I would take…
Install other kernels, reboot into them and then try Wayland, and/or,
Search the forum for other instances,
Search (but don’t post in them) the Arch Forums,
Google search.
Q: Did you ever try w/Wayland prior to Plasma 6? If so…
1 Like
I’ve tried other kernels, didn’t affect anything. Spent a couple of hours today looking for anything that would help me out, unfortunately I didn’t find anything relevant.
I’m not sure if I was using wayland prior to plasma 6 sorry
If you list specifically what you’ve found (via searches, etc.), tells us exactly what you tried and what you did not and why, and what the results were, people here that would and could help you, will have a much better chance of doing so.
Here’s the Bible on how to do so: How To Ask Questions The Smart Way
Otherwise we get stuck in “64 Questions Land.”
