Please check if your keyboard shortcut clashes with something else. To do that open your keyboard shortcut in settings and in the search bar type the keybinding you have for this action to happen. Ex: If you have meta+space for switching keyboard layouts like windows then in the search box type

meta+space

to check if it is not repeated anywhere else.

Ofc, this search query will be different depending on whatever actual shortcut you have setup for the switching function. If you have more than one result then fix it.

Hi, no the shortcut is alt+shift for me, i tried even remove English and use only the second language but even then i can only use English.
very very strange.

and no the “change layout” is the only function when i use this combo.

idk

This sounds like a bug in kde to me. Can you try older snapshots and see if you are able to switch keyboard layouts? If yes, wait for a while before updating the system. Unless the snapshot is incredibly old.
