I would like to note one more thing

Mod edit: NO FIGHTING!

My current situation is that I've changed some settings in styles/window stuff and it made apps have menu bars in the window(just as I wanted) but then I had to restore my layout and I can't find the thing I've changed. I did find it completely random and know I can't remember what it was nor find it.

First solution, restore last working snapshot.
Second restore to Garuda KDE settings via garuda-assistent.

I know the setting. I just want to know this

Do you mean they have their own close/max/min tab instead of having one globalized one?

The fire dragon one up top?

  • Right-click on Latte-dock and click "Configure Latte"
  • Select Preferences Tab
  • Uncheck/disable the option "Support borderless maximized windows in different layouts"
  • Click "Apply" button

In the same settings window, in tab "Layouts Editor", you can change, edit, create layout and "Switch" to it. Save, import layouts that you customize.

Read the documentation for more knowledge.

The summer is really hot in the North Hemisphere, so we all have to try to stay cool. Don't bite for insane fights because of easy misunderstanding each other.

Both of your questions have one solution in common. You are going to have to futz with Latte dock. I’ve done it and it can get a bit tricky, but learning is half the fun.
