hi, i noticed that one of my drives is requesting a password to be accessed but i dont recall setting one (i installed the os last night), and ive tried a few different solutions but none seem to be working, i can provide more details if needed, also im running off of single boot if that helps.

The system requires a reboot.
And please make the garuda-inxi between → </>

how do i do that?
not the inxi thing the reboot

restart the system

oh yeah, thought you meant something else

ive rebooted now, and the request for password is still there, ive tried inputting the only password ive set and its still responding with "An error occurred while accessing ‘Basic data partition’, the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error unlocking /dev/sda2: Failed to activate device: incorrect passphrase

Correct me if im wrong … so you just forget your passphrase for the drive (sda2) ?
maybe its the same as your root or user (Login) password .
