I've been using Garuda for 2 days, most impressive.
Not good with dates, but I've been using Manjaro for at least 6 years; decided to try Garuda. I guess I've been using Linux for 12 years, I'm not sure; lol. My first Linux was Red Hat 5, then Xandros.
Manjaro is one of the best OS's out there, but I was instantly impressed with Garuda's refined features.
Strangely, I never got the 'non-free or propriety' graphics drivers to work on my laptop; ever -- when using Manjaro. I wasn't gaming anymore, so i didn't care; or troubleshoot beyond the basics.
In Garuda, I can use either set of graphics drivers; nice!
The Setup Assistant is a big plus. I know what Apps I want, but I can see how that would really help new people get setup.
Well done to the developers of Garuda, you had me at hello!
