JamesDSP keep on crashing

My JamesDSP keeps on crashing at what seems to be random events, often by other programs making a sound or starting up. Sometimes i wont launch at all. Same if I use my BT headset or wired sound output.

I had this issue since Garuda installation 6 month ago and I cant figure out what causes the crashes..

They say random crashes also upstream, so probably there might be something wrong:

You could also try to garuda-update your system (with -a) to update also AUR packages (I see a jdsp version from 12-Aug there, although those issues are still open....).

I've noticed that JamesDSP would sometimes force close or not start at boot whenever a running app tries to use a sound server other than pipewire. Good example would be Audacious audio player having Jack selected by default for me which kept on force closing Jamesdsp until I changed it. In the bug report above someone mentioned that they noticed everyone who faced the issue had firefox running which may suggest that it may be something similair.
