Howdy and Atom are not packages in the official repos.

You can search for packages in the official Arch repos:
https://archlinux.org/packages/

If not in the official repos, you can probably find the software you are looking for in the AUR:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages

Howdy is there, Atom is no longer maintained and supported. Zed is its spiritual successor (it sucks, btw, but that’s mostly subjective).

atom - text editor similar to vscode
howdy - windows hello alternative

howdy is in AUR but it doesnot work why

If you read the comments, you can see why:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/howdy

Version mismatch with some Python crap. Try howdy-git or howdy-beta-git, if you really must have it. You probably don’t.

Try cleaning completely your pacman cache, e.g.

sudo pacman -Scc
