All of these KDE / Window Manager specific issues are similar and happening together except for the bleechbit issue that happens everytime until run miltiple times which makes it stop happening on some systems.

Bleechbit crashes each time run until it does not then it runs fine; running bleechbit multiple times usually fixes this or fixed it once; Bleechbit Firefox options disappeared entirely after unchecking a few of then running bleechbit.

Files will not launch and hang on attempt until stopping the use of that folder and creating a new folder and placing files into that folder from folders where files work. (problem corrects itself after rebooting…usually)

In Librewolf
After Downloading and saving 9 or so Video & subtitle & Transcript files from Coursera into one folder; then changing folders and doing the same for the next folder; the file names saved are only the first 2 characters and the remaining files must be copy and pasted manually from the copied and saved file name after that point.
Looks like this is being done remotely in real time because creating documents now creates the file with the name and also another file that is not labeled and with no text in the actual file.

Long time no post; things have been going well mostly other then these issues; was having a considerable amount of issues for a long time.

All of these issues are likely memory leak specific to KDE or Dolphin.

Also having issues with copying files after downloading anything from Brave.

Happened after downloading multiple tracks from beatport as well as other similiar operations.

Was able to copy the files eventually with Beatport and move them after about an hour of shenanigans.

Get can not copy or can not right dialogs for files that have been recently downloaded.

Its an exploit or malware issue; some sort of memory leak from a downloaded file; which allows manipulation of Dophin or KDE.

This is so detrimental to workflow that will likely need to stop using Linux.

Can see that happening for pro audio issues; not something like this.

Do not use TwX, do not download files from anywhere and you are safe from malware etc…

Having issues with loading Twitter / X Login page and many other Java Script Sites in Fire Dragon as well. Solved the problem for this specific issue by changing the file name which contained some strange arrows; this seems to be happening often in Garuda not sure of the reason why it is causing issues; also error notifications were not very helpful in solving this issue.

When moving files to partitions that are not a Linux format this causes issues and sometimes the arrows are difficult to notice at a glance. Much appreciated.

This is because Linux and Windows use very different file naming conventions.

You can mitigate this somewhat by using Windows specific mount options in fstab, or by running a bash script to detect bad file names before transferring any files to a Windows file system. I would also have the script scan for any files larger than 4 GB in size before transferring from Linux to a fat based storage device such as a thumb drive. Windows file systems are very fragile and easily corrupted, best not to use Windows file systems with Linux period.
