guys 1st of all i cannot upload image so i uploaded it to imgur website. guys please help and tell me why shell in my kitty terminal is like that? i didn't found solution to this anywhere and hope to find it here. you can see the neovim is not occupying the full terminal space and that is not just neovim but any other program will do the same even the shell. Please help

hi, this issue in terminal is always there for me whenever i use a wm. and this must be some config i am not aware of because if i download and install any ready made config of any wm then this issue disappears but i want to have my own config. and yes this is some config which needs to be done because i once cloned a github repo and used that config of someone else and this issue was gone. so please someone tells me what i need to setup.
