Issue Staying Logged into Sites in Browser

Hello Team!

So I use Brave Browser regularly, and normally after install, the KDE wallet prompts me to set up a password when I first open the browser. However, on this install, I was never prompted to set a wallet password. Now, whenever I log into sites (such as the Garuda Forum), if the browser is closed, I then need to log back into a site every time I reopen the browser. I've tested this with Firedragon, Firefox as well with the same results. It doesn't matter if I reboot the computer or not. It will not keep me logged into any site. Any thoughts? Thanks!

you have updates that are pending a reboot.

check the preferences of your browsers, for security reasons those browsers may be set to "clear history"(which includes logged in sessions) when closed.

I saw that after posting my inxi. Rebooted and same result.
I checked the browser history settings and it's not set to clear upon close. Good suggestions though, thanks!

Doing a fresh reinstall fixed the issue.

Sorry @SGS for putting this under the wrong category. Since the issue was about kwallet rather than browsers, I figured it went under KDE Plasma category. The browsers were simply what were affected in my time of testing. Thanks for correcting.

Hey there!
Have you solved the issue somehow? My brave doesn't allow me to sync as well..

Hey!
So I wasn't able to get kwallet to work even reinstalling kwallet or anything. I ended up reinstallilng my system and that somehow fixed the issue.

it may have been a pacnew situation. have you checked for pacnew in your system?
