Issue after recent update

Good morning, after attempting the recent update after a reboot I get the log-in screen, but once logged in I am getting a black screen with what looks like a low resolution.
I say this because I can see the cursor which is huge and fuzzy and if I hit the f7 button on my keyboard window switcher appears briefly but besides that it’s a black screen.

I’m not sure if this is relevant but I do get this prompt from the update:

:: There are 2 providers available for qt6-multimedia-backend:
:: Repository extra
1) qt6-multimedia-ffmpeg  2) qt6-multimedia-gstreamer

Enter a number (default=1): 1
:: There are 2 providers available for qt6-python-bindings:
:: Repository extra
1) pyside6  2) python-pyqt6

Enter a number (default=1):

I have tried 1 and 2 for both options but get the same result so I don’t think it’s related but wanted to point it out.

Has anyone else had this experience?

It looks like this is the big update to KDE6, so something might have gone wrong there.
Did you get the migration pop-up and act according to the KDE migration instructions?

Can you check, updating again and rebooting, if you have better luck selecting in the login screen x11 instead of Wayland (which is the new default, but is still giving troubles to many people)?

Thanks for the reply, I did attempt to select X11 first but same issue occurred.
I then loaded a snapshot and changed my global theme and all other options to the Garuda Dragonized and attempted again.
It worked this time. Thank you for the assistance.
Marking this as fixed.
