Anything that would let me know there's updated installation media, really. I'm not picky.

Of course you don't have to wait, as soon as you update an old version you have the latest and greatest. Rolling distros are not like fixed point release distros, you only have to perform your regular updates to have the newest versions.

Ah! Thank you , that’ll fit nicely.
Sure - but having the latest ISO makes booting it to show folks so much nicer. Also saves time with updating after a new install. Also lets me seed the torrent. Also keeps my breath fresh and my surfaces free of dust. Well, that last one might not be true.
