Is Garuda the best distro ? Or there is someone else

I used to add Cachy repos but had issues with it. No issues using Cachy and adding Garuda stuff to Cachy for me though so I’m happy with what I got now

And yeah Cachyos lets you choose any file system you want. It came with timeshift originally but I installed snapper helper to make it snapper and all good

I distro jumped for 2 years, and tried basically every distro under the sun.

Then I used KaOS for 7 years, and changed to Garuda 2 years back.
If there is any distro that does something better than Garuda, then its about something I dont care much.

I personally think, a distro that has an immutable core, and a containerized application layer, could solve some of the issues it has for newbies.

As they could install apps, without, necessarily, updating the core at the same time.

Or they could install two versions of the same app at the same time. And it would require not so many restarts, as the app container could be self-sufficient.

It would also be better for people, who live in an area with a bad internet connection.

I am currently working on such a solution, and I have already written a script, that deals at least with some of these issues.

But overall is Garuda the best distro that I used in 10+ years, and I am overall very, very happy with it.
