Is barebones a direct spin from upstream Arch?

Less Garuda Welcome & tools, is barebones pulled directly from upstream?

Like other Linux junkies, I enjoy testing other distros. Fairly recently, I've installed a couple other distros via live USB & install to disk. Two of those were Endeavor & RebornOS ... pulling their Plasma directly from Arch. Other than branding, those two appear to be generally similar by default whereas Garuda barebones is not quite the same.

Barebones has a lot of Garuda-specific packages like performance-tweaks, nohang, prelockd etc. I'm also using the zen kernel. Overall, system is a bit snappier than EndeavourOS or vanilla Arch. But the Devs maybe able to explain further.

Gee, what does your pacman.conf show as the repositories?

My guess is what barebones is ... is not vanilla. It's a mildly hot-rodded Garuda spin without support request.

The base system isn't a clone of the installer script Arch-based distros mentioned.
