Hi there! I’ve been using Garuda since circa July 2024 estimated. I really like it. I use EndeavorOS as well. I suppose I’m trying to decide which I prefer. It’s a difficult decision! so i have a dual boot setup. haha.
i have an id for your mastodon instance as well. my id is ajaxstardust but i dont’ think i’ve used it yet.
Cheers! thank you for a great distro!
my first Linux install was circa 2004 , i think it was Fedora Core 4 or 5.
I have to admit, I only use Garuda Linux because I didn’t manage to install other OS like Cachy, EnOS or Arco.
Too complicated or I’m too spoiled how easy it works with the Garuda Linux live ISO.
Reminder:
Garuda does not support dual boot. Ask on EnOS forums

I used to be an M$ freak myself. After the introduction of reg.edit, I manipulated all the public Windows computers I could get my hands on in funny ways. They caught on to me, but I avoided any consequences! After all, I didn’t do anything illegal, according to the public prosecutor
Yes, you misunderstood.
I’ve written several times that M$ is my BIOS updater app.
It was already installed, and I shrunk the partition to the smallest size possible. I also installed Garuda i3wm and dragonized (dual boot), that’s no problem, but Garuda doesn’t offer support for it.
i’m like that Alice in Chains song. "Well? What have you got?.. "
I don’t know if you were even talking to me. I haven’t listent to music in a while. man that Jack White. he sure is loud about something. Instinct Blues
It’s Friday night. Like i told the guy in line behind me, as we were disgrunted together over the slow as hell lady in front. “it’s holidays”
mind you. it is not holidays. but. okay.
they stumble over there from campus.
Hahah. What’s that guy. Al Jorgenson. Ministry. Stigmata.
But yes. it’s awesome. i really like. it
not allowed w/ the file upload for the screenshot. i sometimes put it on mastodon.
i need to figure out how to link my the … i guess it’s just Garuda Linux | Home ? “Slash-at”, like some crazy chick from Philadelphia? Domain slash-at
Or is that, Lisa-left-eye. She from Philly?
Garuda should be your primary OS, but EndeavorOS, Micro$haft, and everything else should be neatly contained on a forgotten section of your hard drive purely as a virtual machine
If it’s one thing Garuda has taught me is that it’s easy to forget just where you think you are in life when you’re using something that reminds you that you no longer have a mortgage or microsoft: and that for some reason, you’ve started buying led lights from robert dyas and hanging them in your room.
