Internet "Limited connectivity" issue starting the moment I connect any VPN server

Since the first day I’ve installed the NordVPN and start it, my Internet connection, both wired and wifi, became “limited” after 2-5 minutes and often instantly. I had “spoke” with NordVPN support for 10-12 days by emails and togheter making all possibles type of tests and changes but the problem, they said, must reside on Dr460nized side somewhere, probably in the Kernel.
Before Dr460nized I had Mint Cinnamon for 2 weeks and I never had this kind of issue using the same VPN and the same servers for connect (mostly US, Canada, Spain servers), so I tend to believe the problem is here. In Dr460nized I mean!
I also have to particularly specify that my Internet speed is 2.5Gbps and most of the time remains +/- constant, even when the “limited connectivity” pop-up appears and during all my day browsing. This is my general Internet speed performance, excepting rare moments of drastically drop of speed and (only) twice I experimented a complete cut/stop of the connection, when I had to disconnect-reconnect and start using Internet again. I’m using all the time the wired connection!

Ok, Thanks filo! Many of those “steps” I did them with the Nordvpn support guys! But there is one which I’m not sure about, and also I don’t know how should I use it. The “network’s subnet” ip route modification. I’m quite afraid to do “things” when I don’t understand well their meaning and how to make it. Can you help me with that, please?
Tis is my actual ip route:

default via 192.168.1.1 dev enp5s0 proto dhcp src 192.168.1.141 metric 20100
10.0.0.0/10 dev nordlynx proto kernel scope link src 10.5.0.2
192.168.1.0/24 dev enp5s0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.1.141 metric 100

Try

nordvpn whitelist add subnet 192.168.1.0/24

To roll it back if not working:

nordvpn whitelist remove subnet 192.168.1.0/24

Thank you! Unfortunately not working. I mean, it’s the same: the “limited” pops up right away when I connect the vpn. So I rolled it back guessing I don’t particularly need it whitelisted, correct?
I add here, that this “issues” doesn’t bother me too much since my Internet is working “normal” 99% of the time and I can very much enjoy Dr460nized during all my daily use of it! I only opened this topic thinking that could be of Founders interest for further development of this awesome Project! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
And of course I’m sure if anyone would find a solution I would be notified here!
My best wishes to everybody here! :hugs:

My last idea (I am not an expert in these aspects. Just tring to find a way forward…):

By-the-way, have you tried from the wiki:

nordvpn set technology openvpn
nordvpn set protocol tcp
nordvpn set obfuscate on

?

Yes I did all these few times with the guys at Nord but with no improvement on the “issue” :+1:
Also filo, I found and interesting possible “fix” on the “Arch default connectivity check…” you posted in your replay. I would like to create that file on config.d but I don’t know how to find the name of my vpn interface for writing it there! So all I’ve got is this on terminal but I don’t know which is the “name” of my vpn interface here (if nordlynx or another?):

I have 22 minutes vpn connected after I made the file-modification in the Network Manager described in the link filo posted here and my connection icon is “green”, and no “Limited connection” pop-up!
Thank you filo for helping me with technical steps to make and thanks also to enryoku who wrote the post and described the practical solution! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
