Internet lag

Hello, I use Garuda Linux to play. The problem I have is that when I’m playing, lag occurs. The normal pin in the thick game is 9 ms and the lag takes it to 200 ms. When I restart the game, it returns to normal. Could someone help me please?

I haven’t seen this kind of lag-over-time yet.

  • Which game(s) does that affect specifically?

  • Are you on LAN or WIFI?

  • Have you played on the same hardware, in the same network, on another OS before?

Maybe give x11 a chance.
You can select it in the SDDM login screen.

Hello, the leg is still rude and the sell update is still ongoing, and the problem persists. Can someone help please?

This is the first time this problem has happened to me. It didn’t happen before with Windows. This started with Garuda Linux.

This is I have a fiber optic connection with LAN

Okay, which is game is it specifically?

It seems a long-shot to me, but you could try X11 as @filo recommended. You can change this in System Settings → Colors & Themes → Login Screen (SDDM) → Behavior → “Automatically log in as user xxx with session XXX”. Needs a reboot.

The problem continues, I changed to X11 and it did not solve the problem, I play Counter Strike

I would like to be able to reinstall the thin internet drivers for Linux. Could someone tell me how I can do this? Reinstall all the drivers or specifically the modem or router drivers.

Check if this helps:

I’m not a gamer, but hopefully it will be a starting point…

2 posts were split to a new topic: Back to other OS

Since the OP wants to change his OS, obviously no more assistance are needed here.
That’s why I’m closing here.
