Hi every body
i think there is something wrong with virutalbox on garuda as a host , can some one tell me if it is ok to install virtualbox on Garuda ?
i always get that rc 1908 error , is it because i use lts kernel , i installed the stable kernel but the problem didn't go
what is the point exactly?

I don't see the error msg in your post so I don't know exactly what you are talking about.

Make sure you have the DKMS package for VBox installed, without this VBox won't work with the kernel. Any kernel works fine with it as long as you have the DKMS package installed.

I am not on my machine right now but I think it is this package Arch Linux - virtualbox-host-dkms 7.0.6-3 (x86_64)

Kernel driver error usually means DKMS package not installed or kernel headers. Or you may need a reboot, if you tried loading VBox without rebooting first.

VirtualBox - ArchWiki (archlinux.org)
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) - VirtualBox Error / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums

If you do a search on Google, there are TONS of results with this error.

There is also a virtualbox-meta package that includes the kernel modules and stuff.

If nothing helps, do what the error sais.
