I can’t boot into Garuda… when i turn on my laptop goes straight into windows.
When I installed Garuda I didn’t choose the option “along with windows” because i thought since I’m installing it on a separate drive it was the right choice.
Do you have any solution please?
Thank you

On most pc press f8 or which key your bios say,s when booting it should give you a boot menu
Choose your ssd that you installed garuda on
If you want garuda to be your default os change it in your bios to boot your ssd with garuda first

On my BIOS sequence I can’t see the drive where linux is installed … I don’t know why! I just have the drive where windows is installed and Onboard NIC(IPV4) and Onboard NIC(IPV6).
Thank you

one more thing I forgot to say it may be important, I also try to disconnect all drive where windows is installed but it gone into recovery mode… thank you

It looks like you installed in legacy/BIOS compatibility mode. Most likely this is not what you want, because Windows has been installed in UEFI mode and you won’t be able to get them on to the same bootloader this way. You may want to disable CSM or set the BIOS to UEFI only mode, then reinstall the OS and make sure it is setting up an EFI partition for you on the partitioning step.

Otherwise, if you want to run it like this you will have to switch back and forth in the BIOS each time you wish to change from one to the other. You may need to enable CSM for one, and then disable for the other each time.

I did as you told me to and it worked !!! I’m very happy  reinstalled, checked that the EFI partition was there and everything works now! I really like this OS.
Thank you very much for your help
