Trying to install the most recent version of ALVR 20.4.3-2 as it says in ALVR’s github and octopi with yay instead installs alvr-19.1.0.r0.g969899c7-1

This is the version currently in the Chaotic-AUR repo, so the one you most likely would pick up with pacman or octopi (but they should offer you the available “options”).

Is available in the AUR.
I guess it will be a matter of hours for it to be built in the Chaotic-AUR.
If you don’t mind building it

should work. I don’t know why yay didn’t. Maybe for some reasons you ended up to the Chaotic AUR?
If you don’t see the new version in the Chaotic-AUR let’s say within the next 24hh, you should ask for it here:

Thanks i followed your suggestion built it with paru and faced no problems so il bring it up to the chaotic aur.
