I’m trying to install Garuda Linux on my system, but I’m encountering an issue. When I boot into the Live OS to start the installation process, it immediately drops into emergency mode.
My graphics card is an NVIDIA GTX 970, and I suspect the problem might be related to the drivers or GPU compatibility.
Could you please help me resolve this issue so I can proceed with the installation? If there are specific boot parameters or alternative ISOs (e.g., with open-source drivers) I should use, I’d appreciate any guidance.
Would be nice if you can give us more Information about your System.
Can you boot into the liveiso and open the Terminal type in garuda-inxi . Mark the Text and copy and paste in here please. Use tree tiles ~ above and under the text or use </> symbol see on top message bar.
i never dried mokka on my Laptop . I had on my main PC installed the same mokka without issues.
the problem is that the live ISO does not start at all, it is the first time that this problem has happened to me as I have already installed many Linux OS, so secure boot disabled and boot with uefi
Your gtx 970 + intel cpu is not the prob. (my mind)
Bios + correct settings / correct iso / usb / latest ventoy with the correct settings and no faulty hardware. Test on another usb port.
On my test system with gtx 960 i had no prob until i changed (now amd gpu)
All isos from 06.03/08.03 or community isos function well on my system. (with gtx960)
Perhaps you give answer of my question.
Latest bios ?
