I’m not sure the following solution matches with your issue (yours could be related to GPU drivers, I see), but recently we had an issue occurring on most of the KDE implementations.
By-the-way, we would need your garuda-inxi, as requested by the template.

Booting and input issues after update

We still don't know if that's your problem, so I suggest that you first test the removed splash on a single boot (not permanent). This should be done when your system is updated, so unbootable, of course. When you are in the grub line that you want to use, press button E, go to the line starting with linux and remove splash, then CTRL+x If it works (you can boot), you can easily set this as permanent with the Garuda Boot Options tool in the Kernel parameters field. If you don’t have a KDE edition, or anyway the solution above does not work for you, maybe the best thing would be restoring the latest working snapshot, provide the garuda-inxi, and describe better what you did when the issue occurred.
