If I select X11 from Login screen and then go back to Wayland, will my Wayland settings be preserved

I have been having an issue with a 2nd monitor (red fonts very blurry) and I want to try to login using X11 instead of Wayland (KDE Plasma 6) just to do a quick check on the 2nd monitor’s display quality.

When I log back in using Wayland, will my desktop and settings return? Just curious if quick and short X11 login might mess with something and I have to re-configure my Wayland session.

No, it should be fine. You can switch from one to the other as you please.
