I have deleted my chaotic AUR because of a presisting PGP key error and also rewritten pacman.conf file. But now I can't update garuda

The same error was showing in my EOS so then I just deleted chaotic AUR and the problem resolved But after dlting it from garuda I am realizing I cannot update anymore. Please Give The Pacman Configuration File That Is Same As Before. # But first I have to install Chaotic AUR. But how to do it?

Please post your garuda-inxi output.

The command that will reset your pacman.conf file is:

garuda-update remote fullfix

garuda-inxi
find-the-command: “garuda-inxi” is not found locally, searching in repositories…
find-the-command: /var/cache/pkgfile/*.files are out of date, update? [Y/n]

I have also dlted all garuda related components. I though they are bloat and I didnt even need to use them

Didn’t your mother ever warn you about playing with matches!

Your best bet is to install this file via sudo pacman -U https://builds.garudalinux.org/repos/garuda/x86_64/garuda-update-4.10.2-1-any.pkg.tar.zst and run the command given above.

This this doesn’t help, good luck, you’re on your own after successfully removing every single safety net or recovery tool we put in place to prevent such situations. A reinstallation might be easiest depending on how many packages were in fact removed.

Another option

sudo bash -c ". <(wget -qO- https://gitlab.com/garuda-linux/themes-and-settings/settings/garuda-common-settings/-/snippets/2147440/raw/main/remote-update fullfix)"
