To simply write an ISO to disk, I use KDE’s onboard tools. If none are available, I install Suse imagewriter.
For maintaining my distros and DEs, Ventoy is the only alternative.

That specific language version of that wiki page is very outdated; ventoy is one of the better choices to use for Garuda. I haven’t had it fail me in all my years using it to install across multiple machines. (and newer ventoy versions just seem to get better and better)

Ventoy works for a lot of people but if you dont want 5 iso on a stick .
The fedora image writer from flathub is excellent.
I have loaded a Garuda Sway and Gnome spin on my pc and laptop just this week.
The Opensuse writer works well but the fedora one has never let me down.

Yes i used Ventoy since 4 years once is formated swap the iso and reboot for the right iso. i didnt have a issue with garuda,debian,draughter,opensuse,parrot,ubuntu series,Rocky,Sparky,centos or whatever
