I am really sorry.
I dont know how to find that info.
Just plug the USB into the system and accept the prompt which should come up asking whether the new disk should be mounted. Then the name should be shown.
Or that is the name of the file you downloaded and burned into the USB, if you still have it.
Didnot solve again same error
I dont have that iso but I have usb stick.
It directly prompt me to GRUB.
You selected the linux-lts kernel at GRUB, right?
There are only 2 options on GRUB open source and NVIDIA. I selected opensource.
No, that's the USB, sorry, we're mixing two aspects:
- to test the linux-lts kernel after installation, reboot and scroll the grub options (should be in the advanced options)
- to check the iso version, you can enter the USB into the working system
5.15.12-zen1-1-zen
and check the contents of the USB or boot with the USB (select open source drivers), login and provide the inxi -Faz
Here are 4 options.
Linux-zen
Linux-zen (fallback initramfs)
Linux-lts
Linux-lts(fallback initranfs)
Which one should I choose?
The third one (linux-lts)
Its working.
Should I provide anything to you?
No.
But you should update now, to see if afterwards you can boot normally (with the procedure above to use the lts).
If it works, you could stay with the lts for a while and keep the linux-zen in your system, so it will be kept updated and, at every update, you could check if the issue was fixed.
If you want to set the lts as default kernel, that's a bit problematic due to (non-Garuda) bugs.
Here is my favourite procedure to change the default.
Its GARUDA_DR460NIZED_WHITETAIKEDEAG
Notmally I couldnt bootup.
But with the procedure I booted up again.
That's good then.
I had paralleled "the end of the story" by editing my previous post.
Sorry I forgot to update grub and I asked you about that. I felt akward so I deleted the post.
Thank you for your support. Finally fixed it. Lots of love from Nepal.
Nepal? Oh my that's awesome, one of the highest place on Earth where Garuda is running.
You can select @filo post that was your solution so it will mark the thread as SOLVED. Do you know how to do that?
I have done that on one of filo's reply. I am sorry if i did any wrong.
Thank you for complement.
