Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it ok
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of an Angel fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of an Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
Hi I watched that movie a couple of months ago or so.
It is nice
Just finished that excellent. Now moved onto Thou shall not kill on Walter Presents.
Just gone through 8 episodes in 3 nights
The Big Lebowski never gets old. I usually watch it every New Years Eve while imbibing White Russians.
Watched Dune (Pt. 1) on HBO Max. Good production values. Great cast. Good movie. But not what I'd hoped to see.
Why is it that every producer/director/writer has to add crap that wasn't in the book. David Lynch did it a big disservice with his crappola in 1984, and Denis Villeneuve has done the same in 2021. The book was great. It didn't need any of them "making their mark" on what could have been outstanding films. Except they aren't Dune. "Based on (bullshit) Dune" they say.
A good 45 minutes could have been cut from the 2.5-hr movie and what actually took place in the book would have been a nice addition.
Yikes! I am pulling down the big screen in the living room for this tonight. I guess I will be adding more wine to the movie night list. I better throw in edibles as well.
"Get that Pooty!"
In preparation of the next couple days as northern Best Coasties (including @tbg) don raingear, batten down the hatches, and fill our generators...the movie Super Cyclone...oh, joy.
Started charging the deep cycle batteries yesterday. Don't think I'll be going out fishing for a while. 45' waves expected in some places.
