I am new to garuda

Hello everyone. Sorry for my bad English, but it only works with a translator.
I am new to garuda. I’m asking for help with this. There are a few things I don’t know the solution to.
It happened that my computer froze and the caps lock flashed red. I reinstalled the system several times and the error came up again and again, sometimes during an update.

Garuda-inxi I just managed to insert this, sorry.

What should be changed about these?
I use it equally for gaming, filming and listening to music.
I was unable to install the corresponding applications on the laptop, e.g. my asus, Armory Crate.
I connect the TV with an HDMI cable and the sound on the laptop does not automatically switch to the TV, sometimes the screen does not switch automatically either.

Welcome

Reboot please.

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text

I fixed your post

Try X11 from login screen.

Sounds like kernel panic.
Do the LEDs react when you press caps lock or num lock during a freeze?

Disable this in the BIOS and see if that helps.

As far as I know this is only available for Windows, but there should be open source alternatives.

caps lock does not respond to anything when flashing “blue death like windows”
In Bios Raid Controller is off.
In front of the login screen the machine has been frozen.
I try to get in with X11 not Wylandel. It is also interesting that earlier installation was the kernel Zen2-1 and not Zen1-1.

Restarted after update

You welcome!

I agree. I used Armory Crate on Windows and have searched the WWW far and wide for a Linux version. Still looking for a solid alternative though. I did find some asus-fan-control packages in the AUR, but they were very hard to use, and didn’t pick up my GPU fans, just the CPU ones, though it could be a model specific issue (F15). @Joci it might be worth trying, hopefully it works well enough for you! You can install it with yay -S asus-fan-control if you want to review the PKGBUILD, otherwise you can do yay -S asus-fan-control --skipreview (since you’re new to Garuda, and I’m guessing, Linux) if you just want to install it and see if it works. I wouldn’t make --skipreview a habit though.

I don’t know if it was good or not, I changed it. Your request is not clear. I have never posted in this forum.

Thanks, I’ll try.
A few years ago, I used ubuntu in the slightly different terminal. Until now, I used windows, but it was not good for gaming, especially 11, it ate up the RAM.

Okay, I think I need a vacation. Maybe until Monday.

Is the system running stable now?

Was Sie geschrieben haben, ist für Sie klar, nicht für mich.
What you wrote is clear to you, not to me.
Neked egyértelmű amit írtál nekem nem.

I reinstalled the system, made changes to the partition and it is set to x11. I’ll test it like this.

Yeah 11 was a nightmare to game on, especially for laptops. System would eat up my 16GB ram way too fast.
