Hyy From Manjaro User

Hy Folks,
My Name is Garvit Joshi. I have been a Ubuntu user user for 5 Months and Manjaro for more then a year.... and I will be switching to Garuda Tomorrow. I am really excited to be a part of this community, there were some things that i want to clear.

  1. I am an engineering student that i don't play games. I use my laptop for my personal projects so can you give me an idea about using Android Studio in garuda.
  2. I have been a fan of KDE for a long time, and wanted to know difference between Gaming Edition and Normal Edition.
    My Current specs are

Thanks .... Just found out all the packages list from OSDN ..... One more Question: Arch Wiki says that BTRFS still has some unstable features here. Are these things taken care of on Garuda ?

Hi Garvit & welcome to space.

You're 3-for-3 ... Ubuntu, Manjaro & Garuda. All very credible players in the Linux world.

Start with Dragonized ... you can try it. If you wish to upgrade to Ultimate, the Garuda Welcome script will walk you through the upgrade from within your current install.

You'll be fine with btrfs.

Enjoy,
