Hyprpm -v update [FAIL]

Hi, I wanna try hyprland plugins but it fails due to an issue I can’t quite wrap my head around. Feel free to re-categorize this topic, cause I have a feeling I just placed in the wrong location. All I want is a little insight as there are several issues regarding this in the hyprland repo but all kinda seem different to mine [or so I think]

I though that too and manually cloned the repo,
Problem is

hyprpm -v update

Is the one responsible for cloning

Gotcha, I have no clue about that.

Maybe this will help? Using plugins – Hyprland Wiki

hyprpm add https://github.com/hyprwm/hyprland-plugins

Results in same rabbit hole
-I am curious though, headers are supposed to be installed in XDG_DATA_HOME, i don’t seem to have that variable, could that be the cause?
