Hyprland - Two monitors

Hi, I’m trying to configure two monitors (change position screen, scale) but it doesn’t save the configuration in .hyprland.conf at all. Has anyone managed to save after reboot?

Do you still have this line in your hyprland.conf ?

# Set monitor values. For own values, please comment with #
exec-once = .local/bin/mon.sh

If so, please comment it out.
Have a look at Hyprland Wiki, i have 2 monitors hooked up at home with no problems, just setup the monitor section and assigned certain workspace to each monitor, like workspace 1-5 to the left and 6-0 to the right monitor. Don’t have access to my config files right now otherwise i would post the important snippets. But you’d have to comment that line out in hyprland.conf , if not every time you login that shell script would override your monitor section.
Every configuration is done right in the config file, so you have to read on this topic and use an editor.

Thank you! I have external monitor w/laptop and I disable it then when hyprland restarts it would re-enable it!

Also thanks to all who are working on Garuda Hyprland. I had been using it with stock arch, then Manjaro but your version is the best!

Regards,
don
