How to stop X server (for Nvidia drivers)?

First I want to say I'm a complete Linux noob that was tired of all the Windows crap, so I haven't any knowledge.

I would install the drivers with pacman or the Garuda integrated tool, but I can't because my GPU needs a custom driver to work (it's a chinese laptop GPU mounted into a desktop format).
In Ubuntu I could stop the X server by just using 'sudo systemctl stop gdm3', but it doesn't in Garuda. I've sent an hour looking for solutions but I can't find anything.

My specs:
• Ryzen 5600X
• RTX 3070M
• 16GB RAM
• Running latest Garuda Gnome with stock Zen kernel.

I’d bet you have enough knowledge to post the required output of garuda-inxi as directed.

Thusly:

output

A

You never know. Just like @filo discovered your partial update status. I’m not even sure that’s possible with Ubuntu, but it is treading on shaky ground in Arch/Arch-based distributions.
