How to read files from Windows (dual boot)?

My laptop recently suffered a BIOS corruption, which is now fixed, but GRUB won’t show up during startup,

So I have decided to install linux afresh (which I was planning to do already)

I install WinBTRFS, so that I could backup my home folder

THE PROBLEM: The filesystem- including the home folder and its contents- show up on my windows file explorer, but I can’t open any file or copy paste the contents

How do I fix this? I just want to copy paste my home folder

What’s the problem with not posting garuda-inxi?
