I want to move the window buttons (close, minimize, maximize) to the top right corner, but no matter what I try, they stay on the top left. I haven’t been able to change it. I even asked AI assistants, but unfortunately, they gave me incorrect suggestions — so I thought it’s best to ask you directly
This might seem like a small or even funny detail to some — maybe even to those who enjoy sharing pasta pictures — but habits are hard to change. I don’t want to say things like “I’ve used Windows longer than you’ve been alive,” I just need a little help. Thanks in advance
Describe your issue in detail. The more we know, the better we can help
Show us the results of your searches, and what you’ve tried
After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>), or put three tildes (~) above and below the text
And if it still bothers you that the window buttons in the top panel are still displayed on the left when the windows are maximized, then right-click on the top panel → Show Panel Configuration, and drag the widget “Window Buttons” to the right side.
You can see how intelligent such a pseudo AI is by the fact that it doesn’t even know the simplest KDE settings…
