anyone got a clue how to install handbrake?
Same way you would in arch, sudo pacman -S handbrake, or if you prefer command line interface sudo pacman -S handbrake-cli.
If you want to install something in the future, search its package name with sudo pacman -Ss nameofprogramhere. Or just use the graphical Pamac package manager, labeled "Add/remove software", and install whatever you want

Please search the Arch Wiki for topics such as how package management works before requesting assistance. A quick quick search should turn up all you need to know for questions such as this..
We also have our own wiki for Garuda specific information, (although it is not anywhere near as extensive as the Arch Wiki).
