Hi there welcome to the forum.
Try using Ventoy for the live USB.

Hi there, welcome to the community

Please follow instruction at

We support both UEFI and Legacy mode. Most modern laptops manufactured after 2016 ( rough idea ) or so use UEFI instead of Legacy. So, no, you won’t have any problem with UEFI. I have personally tested on both legacy and UEFI, and there is no issue.

I have an HP Omen, and HP Victus is pretty similar in terms of boot menu UI and all, as far as I know. So, feel free to ask if you have any issue.
