How to add a link to the KDE taskbar

I can see how to remove an icon from the taskbar, but not how to add a different one to the taskbar.

I am using KDE Dragon and want to add Alacritty to the taskbar

If the app has a window open, right click the task manager entry and select "pin to task manager".

You can also right click the launcher in the application menu and select "pin to task manager".

Do not use an actual pin, that can damage your monitor.
