How NOT to get an issue resolved?

Hello everyone, im having similar problem as @gutless here (system hard freeze only last second of audio is repeating indefinitely kinda cute).
But instead of factorio my system is freezing in Google Chrome while watching random youtube vids (happened like 10 times today), this is started happening after today’s update i think.

This is a packages list diff between today and yesterday, i guess one of theese is causing a problem:

This is because i did used snapper to roll back to the last working state.

Maybe my issue is completely different from the OP, but wanted to put my 5 cents

This is not the kernel btw., already checked Xanmod, and cachyos.

Edit: maybe it’s this little shit

@gutless do you by any chance using virtual surround sound or something like that?
I think i found out why system is freeezing for me, its virtual surround (99% sure).

I’ve just installed latest garuda-dr460nized-linux-zen-240418.iso and problem is still there.

You might be waiting a while for a response from the OP considering their above remark.

This is not surround, but surround triggers this “crash” almost instantly, i have no clue whats going on here. Without surround crash is still happening, but takes more time to occur.
Anyways.
I’m running my surround sound out of gpu hdmi connected to monitor using HRIR Convolver with this config: src/daemon/filter-chain/sink-virtual-surround-5.1-kemar.conf · master · PipeWire / pipewire · GitLab
gsx++.wav is the hrtf im using. from here: Airtable - HRTF Database
And this is how to setup: https://lemmy.world/post/1865680 (HRIR one)
Ahh yes, and choose pro audio in audio settings

After this play any video on youtube in fullscreen with google chrome or game in steam (runtime) i was playing terraria. Crash in 10 - 20 seconds in chrome and 5s in game.

I have no clue anymore, if someone have any ideas i’m open to try them.

Got it, its the kglobalacceld, why the F is he doing that i dunno, hopefully someone smarter than i can figure this one out.
For now
IgnorePkg=kglobalacceld for me.

edit: whaaaaaaaattt noooooo, i’ts still happening :joy:

@tbg well, firstly let me apologise to everyone for my inapropriate behaviour on the last post and overall, im sorry.

Secondly,

why the F is he doing that

This was about the package, not about gutless, this is my bad for the language barrier. (if that sounded like i’m talking to the OP)

Third, do you think @Bro is telling the guy to move to another distro is an appropriate bahaviour formatted posts? instead of i dont know, saying something useful? or even better just dont’ say anything.

Also: “because of a stupid game” @Bro you know Garuda is a gaming oriened distro right? also calling Factorio a stupid game.

Because they’re a quitter, and in cases like this there is an old saying that applies:

Quitters never win, and winners never quit.
